Birth of Jesus Christ :-

Mother Mary in her hesitation simply said that I am still unmarried, how is it possible. The angels explained that this would all happen through miracles. Soon after, Maryam was married to a man named Yusuf. Yusuf took Mary to his home in Nazareth. Nazareth used to be a part of Rome society at that time.
Census began in Rome at the time of Mary’s pregnancy. Joseph came to the city of Bethlehem in Jerusalem to enroll Mary in the census. Due to lack of space in the inn, he took refuge in the stables itself. The birth of the child was completed in Bethlehem itself, and one night Mary gave birth to a son. On this day a star was shining very brightly in the sky to realize that their Messiah had taken birth to save them from the rule of Rome.
The first news of the birth of the child was received by the poor people only. The angels had given the news of the birth of the child to a shepherd. He told the shepherd that a child has been born among you who will be your king. Knowing this, all the people were happy and saw Jesus.

When the people passed by the next day, the stone was moved from its place and the Lord Jesus was not there. It is believed that Jesus was resurrected
How Christmas Day is celebrated:- Many days before Christmas, the carousel is sung by the people of the Christian community.
Prayers are held in the church. Church houses are decorated, the birth story of Jesus is displayed in the form of tableaux and devotional songs are sung.
In churches, the Christmas tree is decorated as a symbol of good luck. Today Christmas has become as much a social festival as it is religious. Non-Christians also celebrate it as a secular cultural festival. Christmas tree cake has great significance on Christmas day. On this festival, people distribute sweets to their relatives and friends. In the evening, Santa Claus comes and distributes gifts to the children.

हर्ष और उल्लास का प्रतीक क्रिसमस स्थाई धर्म का सबसे बड़ा त्यौहार है। यह त्योहार पूरे विश्व भर में बड़े ही धूमधाम से मनाया जाता है। प्रत्येक वर्ष 25 दिसंबर को बड़ा दिन के रूप में मनाया जाता है। इस दिन जगत के पापों का उद्धार करता परमेश्वर का प्यारा पुत्र जीसस क्राइस्ट का जन्म हुआ था। जिसने जगत के पापों को अपने ऊपर लेकर प्राण की आहुति दे दी। जीसस क्राइस्ट को परमेश्वर का बेटा यानी “सन ऑफ गॉड कहा जाता” है।
क्रिसमस शब्द का जन्म क्राइस्ट मास शब्द से हुआ है और ऐसा मानना है कि सबसे पहले क्रिसमस डे रोम में मनाया गया था।

ईसा मसीह का जन्म : –
बाइबल के अनुसार माता मरियम को आज से हजारों साल पहले एक स्वर्ग दूत ने दर्शन दिया और बताया कि तुम पवित्र आत्माओं की ओर से गर्भवती होगी और एक पुत्र को जन्म देगी। बच्चे का नाम जीसस क्राइस्ट रखना। माता मरियम ने अपने संकोच बस कहा कि मैं तो अभी अविवाहित हूं ऐसा कैसे संभव है। स्वर्ग दूतों ने समझाया कि यह सब चमत्कार के माध्यम से होगा। जल्दी कुछ दिनों बाद मरियम की शादी युसूफ नामक व्यक्ति से हुई।
युसूफ मरियम को लेकर अपने घर नासरत आ गए। नासरत उस समय रोम समाज का हिस्सा हुआ करता था । मरियम के गर्भावस्था के समय रोम में जनगणना होने लगी। युसूफ मरियम को लेकर जनगणना में नाम लिखवाने यरूशलम के बेतलहम नगर में आ गए। सराय में जगह न मिलने के कारण उन्होंने अस्तबल में ही शरण ले ली। बेतलहम में ही बालक के जन्म के समय पूरे हुए और एक रात मरियम ने एक पुत्र को जन्म दिया। इस दिन आकाश में एक तारा बहुत तेज चमक रहा था जिससे एहसास हो गया कि रोम के शासन से बचाने के लिए उनके मसीहा ने जन्म ले लिया है।
बालक के जन्म के सबसे पहले खबर निर्धन लोगों को ही मिली थी। स्वर्ग दूतों ने बालक के जन्म की खबर एक गडेरीये को दे दी थी। उन्होंने गडेरीये को बताया कि तुम्हारे बीच एक ऐसा बालक ने जन्म लिया है जो तुम्हारा राजा होगा । यह जानकर सभी लोगों खुश हुए और यीशु के दर्शन किए ।
क्रिसमस पर तारों का भी बहुत महत्व है तारों ने ही ईश्वर के प्यारे पुत्र ईसा मसीह को धरती पर आने की सूचना लोगों को दी थी।
ईसा मसीह का संदेश:-
- ईसा मसीह ने दुनिया को एकता और भाईचारे की सीख दी।
- ईसा मसीह ने लोगों को भगवान के करीब रहकर लोगों की सेवा करने की सीख दिए।
- प्रभु ने क्षमा मांगने और क्षमा करने पर जोर दिया और लोगों को समझाया कि सभी जीवो पर दया करो ।
- प्रभु यीशु ने समाज को समानता का पाठ पढ़ाया और बताया कि सभी मनुष्य एक समान है।उन्होंने लोगों को संदेश दिया कि भले ही दुनिया में क्रूरता, अन्याय और गैर बराबरी जैसी अनेक बुराइयां है पर ईश्वर के घर में सभी बराबर है।
- उन्होंने ऐसे समाज बनाने पर जोर दिया जिसमें क्रूरता और अन्याय की कोई जगह ही नहीं हो। सभी लोग प्रेम के साथ मिलजुल कर रहे और एक दूसरे के सुख-दुख में सहयोगी बने।
उस समय के शासक को जीसस यानी यीशु मसीह का संदेश पसंद नहीं था यही वजह थी कि क्रूर शासक ने ईसा मसीह को सूली पर लटकाकर क्रूरता से मृत्युदंड दे दिया। उनकी मृत्यु के बाद उनके शव को एक गुफा में डालकर बड़े पत्थर से ढक दिया। जब अगले दिन लोगों वहां से गुजरे वहां पत्थर अपनी जगह से सरका हुआ था और प्रभु यीशु वहां नहीं थे। ऐसी मान्यता है कि यीशु पुनः जीवित हो उठे थे
क्रिसमस डे कैसे मनाया जाता है:-
क्रिसमस के कई दिन पहले से ही ईसाई समुदाय के लोगों द्वारा कैरोज गाया जाता है ।
गिरजाघर में प्रार्थना की जाती है। गिरजा घरों को सजाया जाता है यीशु की जन्म गाथा झांकियां के रूप में प्रदर्शित की जाती है और भक्ति पूर्ण भावना से गीत गाया जाता है।
गिरजा घरों में मंगल कामना का प्रतीक क्रिसमस ट्री को सजाया जाता है। आज क्रिसमस जितना धार्मिक है उतना ही सामाजिक पर्व बन गया है। गैर ईसाई लोग भी इसे धर्म निरपेक्षता सांस्कृतिक पर्व के रूप में मनाते हैं क्रिसमस के दिन क्रिसमस ट्री केक का बड़ा ही महत्व है। इस पर्व पर लोगों ने अपने लोग एवं रिश्तेदारों मित्रों को मिठाई बांटते हैं। रात के समय शाम को संता क्लॉज़ आकर बच्चों को उपहार बांटते हैं।
यह त्यौहार ईसा मसीह के त्याग और बलिदान को याद दिलाता है उन्होंने पूरी मानव जाति को दया करुणा और प्रेम का मार्ग दिखाएं। प्रेम और शांति का यह त्योहार मनुष्य के जीवन को सुखी और अर्थ पूर्ण बनाने का संदेश देता है। अंत: हमारा कर्तव्य है कि हम उनकी शिक्षा के अनुसार जीवन बिता कर क्रिसमस डे का त्योहार सही मायने में सफल बनाएं और इस त्यौहार की गरिमा और महत्व को और बढ़ाएं।
